What data we collect, and why
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across other sites. We don't sell data, run ads, or collect personal information. If you email us, we keep the email to respond. That's it.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are being read and where visitors are coming from. This is a cookieless service (no cookies are set on your device) and does not track you across other websites. Cloudflare collects aggregated, anonymised data such as page views and referrer URLs. No personal identifiers are logged.
Emails
If you email hello@bristolretrofit.co.uk, we keep your email and our reply in our inbox to maintain a record of correspondence. We don't add you to a mailing list, share your email with third parties, or use it for marketing.
Interactive tools
Some articles include calculators or eligibility checkers. All calculations run locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit the data you enter into these tools.
Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies. The only cookie-like storage we use is
localStorage to remember if you've dismissed the cookie
banner. This is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted
to us.
Third parties
We do not share your data with advertisers, affiliate networks, or marketing platforms. The only third party with access to aggregated analytics data is Cloudflare (as our analytics provider and CDN host).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, request its deletion, or lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In practice, the only personal data we're likely to hold is correspondence you've sent us by email. To exercise your rights, email hello@bristolretrofit.co.uk.
